CHARACTER INFORMATION

NAME: Eobard Thawne / the Reverse Flash / the artist previously known as Harrison Wells
CANON: CW’s The Flash
AGE: Mid-40s, approximately
CANON POINT: After the first season finale, after he incurred a fatal case of “my ancestor shot himself to make sure I wouldn’t commit a whole pile of murders,” it was pretty hardcore

BACKGROUND: Wiki link!
INCENTIVE: To return home alive to the 22nd century!!! Where he feels safe, and loved. While it’s left ambiguous in the series what exactly awaits him back home, everything he does in canon is with this single purpose--and while back in the 21st century it’s shown that he’s willing to kill, maim, and fake a disability to do it, he’s equally willing to hug, kiss, and commit to a period of non-violence for the same reasons.
FIT: Eobard may have traveled across space and time to be a lean, mean, murdering machine, but in the duration of his time in the 21st century he seems to have retained some fairly normal ideas with regards to physical intimacy. While he isn’t an inherently touchy guy and seems to demand some moderate respect for his personal space--at one point Felicity Smoak gives him a friendly tap on the shoulder and he looks at his shoulder like she had pizza hands--he’s just as likely to touch for typical reasons, i.e. to soothe and befriend. In his time spent as Harrison Wells, ostensible mentor and close friend to a small handful of people, he’s shown that while he’s an emotionally reserved person, he’s gentle with those he cares about and has a willingness to assimilate into friend groups and communities for his own purposes. He’s somewhat of a gentleman for whom consent in sexual relations is reasonably important; he’ll build relationships readily in Eudio, and not even just to attain ends but because ultimately he seems to value people. Not that they particularly take priority over his time travel needs, but still.

Basically he’ll play by anybody’s rules if it’ll get him where he wants to go, and as a result he’s likely to lead a fairly tame and nonviolent life in Eudio. With his scientific know-how and his somewhat acidic charms, he’ll immerse himself in the flow of Eudio life with speed and flexibility. Sometimes he and the rest of the Flash cast will butt heads, though, because he’s still pretty evil.

SAMPLES:

network style and prose style! the prose link is NSFW

ANYTHING ELSE? he has a connection to the SPEED FORCE and he has to GO FAST but sometimes his connection is more dial-up than broadband and it STINKS and he DOESN’T LIKE IT
